The magnitudes of the nuclear moments of the proton and the deuteron are remeasured by the method of atomic beams. The new experimental arrangement is such that the evaluation of the results does not require any information with regard to the velocity distribution of the atoms in the beam. Detection is made objective by the use of a Stern-Pirani detector. The signs of the magnetic moments of the proton and deuteron are determined by the method of nonadiabatic transitions in a weak magnetic field. The results of the experiment are: =2. 850. 15; ₀=0. 850. 03 nuclear magnetons. Both moments are positive in sign.
