Confidentiality in Medicine — A Decrepit Concept

Siegler maintains that medical confidentiality, as traditionally by physicians and patients, no longer exists; modern hospital care that medical records be available to health care team members,, insurers, and others. He urges the public and the medical to direct their efforts toward salvaging those aspects of which should be retained, rather than vainly trying to a myth. He suggests several ways that unnecessary breaches of could be minimized. (KIE abstract)
