Simulation study demonstrates improved DC bus utilization and reduced harmonic distortion in high-voltage direct current systems, indicating enhanced power stability with diode-clamped inverters.
The space vector PWM technique is employed to regulate a DC based HVDC system for higher DC bus utilisation, harmonic reduction, and fewer power fluctuations in this study. The proposed technology, which is based on a SPVM technique, employs redundant switching states to reduce the cost function associated with DC capacitor voltage changes. This paper discusses the suggested SVM computation for identifying the optimum switching states, minimising switching frequency, and minimising the THD content of the AC side voltage. The simulations are carried out in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment, and the results are presented for both static and dynamic parameters.
