Taxonomic revision and description of a new leafhopper species in Thailand, enhancing biodiversity knowledge.
This study describes a new species, Otbatara phuphanensis sp. nov. from north-eastern Thailand, based on a male holotype specimen. We provide an updated generic diagnosis and expand the known distribution of the genus Otbatara in Southeast Asia. This work improves the taxonomy of Otbatara and offers basic data for future studies on leafhopper diversity.
