The premolar with a fractured cusp presents an array of challenges to the treating clinician. Within the article, we discuss the aetiology and risk factors involved in the cuspal fracture of premolars, while presenting strategies for effective clinical management. CPD/Clinical Relevance: This article provides clinical guidance for the management and treatment of the premolar with a fractured cusp.
