Abstract: Under the background of the rapid development of artificial intelligence, the ideological and political education of college counselors has also ushered in new opportunities and challenges. This paper discusses the innovation of ideological and political education from the perspective of artificial intelligence. On the basis of analyzing the current phenomena of insufficient technology application ability, low data literacy and homogenization of educational content, this paper puts forward some suggestions on improving technology application ability, strengthening data literacy education and enriching the supply of educational content. The use of artificial intelligence technology can promote the development of ideological and political education in the direction of precision, intelligence and personalization, which is conducive to enhancing the effectiveness and pertinence of education. This paper aims to provide some reference and ideas for college counselors to carry out ideological and political education in the new era.
