This research investigates the validity of the Triple Product Rule derived from Euler’s Chain Relationship for gas compression and expansion.
Examined existing thermodynamic relations
Analyzed implications of Euler’s Chain Relationship on gas behavior
The relation was found to be invalid for gas compression and expansion scenarios.
Abstract
It is shown here that the well-known thermodynamic relation which stems from the Euler’s Chain Relationship is not valid for descriptions of the compression and expansion of gases.
