Demonstrates enhanced control performance in sensorless occasions, suggesting improved robustness in motor systems.
Motor parameters and rotor position play a crucial role in ensuring high‐performance deadbeat predictive current control (DPCC) of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM). However, the parameter variations will degrade control performance. This problem becomes more critical in position sensor‐less occasion, where parameter deviations not only affect control performance but also reduce position estimation accuracy. To address the aforementioned challenges, this paper proposes a sensorless DPCC strategy incorporating online parameter and rotor position identification. The method employs high‐frequency carrier signal injection to estimate motor parameters and rotor position online simultaneously. The identified parameters are integrated into the predictive controller to achieve accurate state prediction. Meanwhile, the identified rotor position angle can be achieved without relying on motor parameters, thereby enabling robust predictive control under sensorless operation. The results of simulation and experimental validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, demonstrating improved robustness and control precision under varying operating conditions.
