This review article explores the pivotal studies that led to the approval of chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapies for hematologic malignancies and highlights available associated long-term and real-world data. It also examines the mechanisms of resistance and potential novel therapies to overcome these mechanisms.
