This work proposes a model integrating self-other orientation, detailing dynamics of differentiation and integration.
This work proposes a unified model that integrates spatial structure and temporal process within self–other orientation. It conceptualizes the relationship not as a fixed opposition, but as a dynamic system in which differentiation and reintegration continuously occur (A → B → A⁺). Within this framework, self-oriented processes are associated with meaning, subjectivity, preconscious dynamics, and temporality, while other-oriented processes correspond to reality, objectivity, consciousness, and spatiality. The model further demonstrates that imbalance arises when one orientation is suppressed, and that stability emerges through their integration and self-alignment. By reframing self–other relations as a continuous structural and temporal process, this model provides a basis for understanding how differentiation leads not to fragmentation, but to expanded integration.
