We propose a context-indexed framework for analyzing knowledge, synthesizedfrom virtue epistemology, modal epistemology, and defeasibility theory. The central analysis is:Context-Indexed Knowledge Equation. The framework specifies seven conditions tracking distinct epistemic failure modes,with explicit context and threshold parameters. Through adversarial stress-testingagainst 26 counterexample categories, we argue that this architecture handlesknown Gettier variants. We explicitly acknowledge: this is a structural candidateanalysis, not a reductive metaphysical definition; key terms remain philosophicallycontested; the framework separates core claims from optional extensions.
