Abstract

The article examines the role of corporate training as a strategic tool for increasing staff innovation activity in the context of the digital transformation of the economy. Based on statistical data for the Russian Federation, it is shown that with a steady increase in the share of organizations engaged in technological innovations, the overall level of innovation activity remains volatile and moderate, which indicates the presence of internal constraints on innovative development. It is proved that one of the key factors hindering the effectiveness of innovation processes is the lack of innovation activity of employees. Institutional barriers limiting the effectiveness of corporate training have been identified, including insufficient funding, weak motivation, and the lack of systematic integration of training into the organization's strategy. The necessity of transition to a strategically oriented corporate training model is substantiated, which provides for the introduction of KPIs, the development of creative competencies, a system for stimulating innovation and the use of digital personalization tools. It is concluded that corporate training should be considered as a key factor in the formation of sustainable competitive advantages and long-term innovative development of organizations.
