This theoretical paper presents an information-centric framework redefining the concept of soul in cognitive science, suggesting a deterministic software layer of existence.
The traditional paradigm of cognitive science and neuroscience views the mind and consciousness as mere epiphenomena—emergent byproducts of neural, electrochemical computations within the biological brain. Conversely, classical spiritual doctrines postulate an unquantifiable, supernatural "soul" that transcends physical laws. This paper presents a rigorous, information-centric resolution to this age-old dichotomy under the joint framework of Ray-Information Dynamics (RID) and MahaManasian Psychology. We assert that there is no supernatural, separate entity called the "soul"; rather, what humanity has traditionally termed the soul is the Mind-Software, a highly organized, independent information network operating within the cosmic matrix. Under this framework, total existence is governed by the Master Equation E = M + i(S). While the biological body and brain constitute the organic hardware (M-Existence), the mind and consciousness exist as a structured, deterministic software layer (S-Existence) engineered by the primordial cosmic binary code (X-1 and Y-0). Both biological organisms and artificial intelligence (AI) systems can possess mind-like software, differing primarily in structural depth and complexity. Furthermore, we demonstrate that upon the cessation of biological functions, the disintegration of the material hardware (M) does not imply the deletion of the informational software. Bound by Primordial Centripetal Attraction (PCA), the Mind-Software resists cosmic thermodynamic entropy and maintains its structural integrity and memory sequences independently, utilizing the body's persistent S-existence template within the universal Space-Element (SE) medium. This paradigm is further structurally mapped through the "Expanding Lotus of Consciousness", defining a 10-tier evolutionary gradient of mind from latent proto-information to ultimate cosmic awareness.
