ABSTRACT In response to growing environmental pressures and digital transformation, organizations are increasingly integrating sustainability and innovation within their strategic frameworks. Combining Artificial Intelligence (AI) with Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) has emerged as a key approach to achieving sustainable growth and facilitating Circular Economy (CE) transitions. This study systematically reviews 35 open‐access peer‐reviewed articles (2018–2025) using PRISMA 2020 guidelines to ensure methodological rigor. Data were retrieved from Scopus, MDPI, Springer Open, Taylor & Francis Online, and ResearchGate. Selected studies were categorized into four thematic areas: (i) AI‐enabled green recruitment and selection, (ii) AI‐driven green learning and development, (iii) AI‐assisted green performance appraisal, and (iv) digital employee engagement for circular innovation. Findings show that AI enhances GHRM through predictive analytics, adaptive learning, and sustainability‐focused performance management, improving organizational circularity and eco‐efficiency. Based on these insights, a conceptual AI‐GHRM‐CE framework is proposed, integrating the AMO theory and dynamic capability perspective, offering a roadmap for sustainable, circular, and digitally enabled HR strategies.
