Moral behavior and moral judgment of children.

The experiment required a child to divide an unequal number of nuts between himself and another child. Within this framework, an attempt was made to answer such questions in regard to generosity as: what are the types of moral behavior as related to age, is there a difference in moral conduct according to sex, and what effect does the socio-economic group to which the child belongs have upon his moral behavior?
