Chronic schizophrenics in the community: Are they able to report their social adjustment?

Deinstitutionalization of schizophrenic patients makes it imperative that we develop reliable and valid methods to assess social adjustment. This report focuses on data obtained from the administration of the Social Adjustment Scale II. High agreement was found between the reports of 56 schizophrenic patients and their significant others.
