A validation of types of career indecision at a counseling center.

This study represents a practical application and a validation of clusters of undecided students described in Lucas & Epperson's (1990) article. 232 student help seekers at a university counseling center were classified into 1 of 5 types reported in the article. The types were compared with one another on the following variables: age, level of vocational identity, number and kinds of problems presented at intake, kinds of problems worked on during counseling, and number of counseling sessions.
