The monograph addresses issues related to digital encyclopedic practice in the context of contemporary socio-humanities. This book presents the history of the emergence and spread of electronic encyclopedias in Ukraine and globally, clarifies their distinctive features, and explores the relationship between electronic and print encyclopedias. A special focus is given to the comprehensive description of the online version of the Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine, as well as to current national online encyclopedias abroad.
