This study surveyed people living with HIV (PLHIV) in six districts of South Africa. The successful completion of this study required not only the technical knowledge and skills of those involved but also their commitment to and passion for the elimination of HIV-related stigma and discrimination. First, we acknowledge and thank the PLHIV who consented to take part in this study. Without their voluntary participation this study would not have been possible. They shared with us their time, personal information, and experiences despite many still experiencing stigmatization and discrimination. The information provided will assist in advocating for the implementation of stigma mitigation campaigns in South Africa.
