Demonstrates a general solution using Hyper Block Matrices in hierarchical systems, suggesting new theoretical and practical applications.
"Matrices are among the most powerful and widely applied structures in mathematics, enabling the systematic solution of linear systems and serving as foundational tools across science, engineering, and computation. One important generalization is the block matrix, in which a matrix is partitioned into submatrices that serve as its entries. In this paper, we introduce a further generalization we call the Hyper Block Matrix: an augmented matrix whose entries are themselves augmented matrices. We develop a three-stage solution procedure using Cramer's Rule at each level, connected by bridge equations that map the solutions of inner matrices to the entries of the outer matrix. We prove that this construction admits a general solution, provide a worked example, and establish two foundational theorems. We further show that Hyper Block Matrices may themselves serve as entries to higher-order Hyper Block Matrices, yielding a potentially infinite hierarchy of nested augmented systems. This construction opens new theoretical directions in linear algebra and suggests practical applications in multi-scale modeling, hierarchical systems analysis, and computational mathematics."
