A simple proof of global inverse function theorem in <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">Rⁿ</tex> is given. A global homeomorphic version of the theorem is proved first. A global diffeomorphic version follows by an application of the classical local inverse function theorem.
