This project registers the protocol for a scoping review on AI-generated video (AIGV) in education. AIGV is defined in this review as an educational or instructional video artifact in which artificial intelligence substantively generates or transforms at least one core component of the video, such as visual scenes, animations, synthetic presenters, AI avatars, voice-over, or script-to-video sequences. The review aims to map the current evidence on AIGV technologies, educational contexts, pedagogical applications, and reported benefits and challenges. The review will be guided by established scoping review methodology and reported in accordance with PRISMA-ScR.
