The liner impedance predictions agree well with NASA test data. The study has indicated that the in-duct grazing flow, which includes both mean flow Mach number and boundary layer thickness (displacement boundary layer thickness is used in this study), strongly affects the perforated liner impedance value. This provides confidence that the Goodrich model can be used to predict perforated liner impedance in the presence of grazing flow.
