An approach is developed to create macromolecular systems containing silver nanoparticles (NPs) based on water-soluble chitosan succinamide (CS) and a reducing agent, D-glucose, when exposed to microwave radiation. The optimal parameters of the silver NP synthesis process are determined: the concentration of the polymer solution, the initial silver salt, and the reducing agent, D-glucose. The presence of silver NPs in the resulting colloidal solution is confirmed by the electronic spectra of plasmon resonance (λmax = 420 nm). According to the transmission electron microscopy data, the silver NPs are spherical, with a size of 9 to 33 nm.
