Catheter ablation targeting pulmonary vein isolation, an anterior line, and a roof line can successfully treat perimitral flutter in patients without prior cardiac surgery or ablation.
May offer ablation option for perimitral flutter without prior intervention; leaves open need for prospective validation.

Ishiguchi et al. (2014) conducted a case report in Perimitral flutter (n=1). Catheter ablation (pulmonary vein isolation, anterior line, and roof line) was evaluated on Termination and non-inducibility of tachycardia. Catheter ablation targeting pulmonary vein isolation, anterior line, and roof line successfully terminated perimitral flutter and rendered it non-inducible in a 78-year-old woman.
