Abstract

The paper reports on the search of two regions at delta = 80 deg for fluctuations in the cosmic microwave background. No significant evidence for small-scale anisotropies was found. It is shown that at the 95% confidence level, the upper limit on fluctuations Delta T/T was about 2 x 10 to the -4th on angular scales comparable to the beam width (3.6 arc min). Finally, on a larger angular scale of 7 arc min, the upper limit was Delta T/T is less than about 8 x 10 to the -5th
