The Forum for Collaborative HIV Research provides a neutral and independent platform that engages all stakeholders in HIV research with the aim of enhancing and facilitating HIV-related research. Members include representatives of governmental agencies, the pharmaceutical and diagnostic industries, foundations, and payers; community advocates; and members of academia. This unique model incorporates the perspectives of each of its member constituencies. The benefits of this model include reducing uncertainty and accelerating the flow of information, resulting in a more comprehensive and inclusive research agenda.
