Demonstrates improved fiber communication capacity using advanced optical multiplexing in fiber systems, suggesting enhanced data throughput.
This paper have demonstrated the basic advanced hybrid optical transmission/multiplexing techniques for upgrading the total optical fiber core communication systems capacity based all optical doped fiber amplifiers through the use of OptiSystem simulation software. The overall total fiber core bit rates are estimated through the use of space division multiplexing (SDM) techniques. Maximum time division multiplexing (MTDM) and Soliton transmission techniques are used to increase the fiber channel bit rate and then to increase the overall fiber bit rate per link. Dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) are used to increase the number of channels through the fiber system. Vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) bias current and bias power variations are studied against near infrared spectral wavelengths and ambient temperature variations. The total bit rate either per fiber core or per fiber link are clarified in relation to both number of core per each fiber and number of links per fiber core at ambient temperature variations. Either total signal to noise ratio per channel or total bit error rate per channel is demonstrated versus ambient temperature variations and number of channels per fiber link at various VCSEL laser wavelength windows.
