Data-Driven Control and Process Monitoring for Industrial Applications—Part I

This first part of the Special Section presents 13 papers, which can be categorized into three main topics, namely, “data-driven controller tuning/design” (including six papers [10]-[15]), “data-driven process monitoring” (including four papers [16]-[19]), and “data-driven modeling/theoretical analysis” topic (including three papers [20]-[22]). To make the published contributions explicit for readers' reference, the papers included within this Special Section-Part I are briefly summarized here.
