Great Britain and Ireland on the Standardi- zation of Precordial Leads' were published. The report, expertly done by selected committees of each of these organizations, was received with considerable enthusiasm by most clinicians, with some misgivings by a few. The latter included those individualists to whom the word standardization is anathema, and to whom conventionalization is synonymous with stultification of thought.
