Upon the basis of total scores assigned, 35 stildents (the top 27% were designated most religious; 60 students (the middle 46% ) , moderately religious; and 35 (the lowest 27% ), least religious. For each of these groups the authors determined the number and the per cent of students who on the Who-amI? test gave religious-related responses in defining self: (a) 57% .(20 out of 35) of the most group; 37% (22 out of 60) of the moderately group; and 26% (9 out of 35) of the least group. The chi square was 7.56 (df = 2, p < .05), therefore, intensity of religious belief is reflecred in one's self-concept as assessed by the Who-am-I? technique.
