Analysis of micro vibration in a rigid slender rod constrained by a parabolic track, illustrating physical principles.
The first question of the final round of the 39 th National Middle School Physics Competition was designed around the context of the micro vibration of a rigid slender rod constrained by a parabolic track. This paper first analyzes and answers the three questions in the original problem. To clarify the physical principles behind the problem context, the balance position of the slender rod, the micro vibration frequency near different balance positions, and the force conditions at different balance positions are studied and discussed, with graphs illustrating the relevant physical laws.
