Abstract

New medicine initiative covers the frontier of the development of new disciplines such as precision medicine and intelligent medicine. Against this background, the teaching content and methods of medical physics need to keep pace with the times. The case-based teaching model is beneficial to narrow the gap between the teaching of physics theory and clinical practice. Based on the training objectives of new medical talents and the teaching tasks of the medical physics course, this paper discusses the construction ideas of medical cases and the integration points of physics and medicine, and introduces and discusses the common clinical disease “cell phone neck” as a teaching case. The practical results show that the use of case teaching is conducive for students to grasp the knowledge of physics and medicine from the phenomena of the case, and understand the application of these principles in clinical medicine and medical equipment or technology, thereby better improving students’ ability to solve interdisciplinary problems.
