Cobalt Imidazolate Framework as Precursor for Oxygen Reduction Reaction Electrocatalysts

Co(ol) framework: A new approach to prepare an electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction by using a metal–organic framework as a precursor is introduced. Investigations of the catalytic activity and the active-site structure of the new catalyst are also presented (see figure; green=Co, blue=N, white=H, gray=C).
