Dear colleagues, It is my great pleasure to present this issue of the Kerala Surgical Journal, the official publication of the Association of Surgeons of India, Kerala Chapter. Over the years, our Chapter has evolved into a dynamic academic community that fosters innovation, research and knowledge exchange among surgeons across Kerala. The journal embodies these ideals by offering a platform for members to share original research, case studies, reviews and insights that drive continuous improvement in surgical care. This time, we have applied for DOAJ indexation and hopefully will achieve that milestone soon, further elevating our publication’s global visibility. I congratulate Editor Dr. Sulfekar M S and the entire Editorial Board for their dedicated efforts in curating quality scientific content and upholding high editorial standards.
