A mobile usability assessment of Carousell application was conducted with students from Universiti Utara Malaysia, UUM. Carousell is a mobile shopping app that is used widely. The outcome of the evaluation shows that the application was perceived usable by the study participants. The result provides a positive feedback and showed that the mobile shopping app is effective, efficient, and satisfying as perceived by the study participants. However, one of the participants who played the role of a buyer was confused between offer button and buy button. The suggested improvements include: 1) proper guide on how to buy should be well prepared and provided for new user and 2) the button should be clear and easy to understand for first time users. This observation will be helpful to the owners of the application in future version development of the application.
