This project builds a large-scale infrastructure for generating clinical research insights from extensive primary care records in Brazil, implying vast scientific potential.
This project explores the structure, scale and scientific potential of more than 12 billion longitudinal primary care health records in Brazil through early 2026, leveraging data ecosystems related to SISAB and the e-SUS APS strategy, including electronic health records, household visits and primary care production data. The infrastructure remains continuously active and expanding, currently incorporating approximately 2 billion new records annually, enabling scalable clinical research and real-world evidence generation at population scale.
