Abstract The article reports a novel sign on CT or MR imaging at the vesico-ureteric junction—‘Ureteric Tug Sign’ which represents an asymmetrical outward bulging of the bladder wall directly caused by the traction of a foreshortened, fibrotic ureter in patients with urinary tuberculosis. This sign may serve as a valuable imaging indicator of advanced ureteric involvement in urinary tuberculosis. Its recognition could aid in specific diagnosis, influence disease staging and optimize surgical planning, thereby contributing to improved patient outcomes.
