Study optimizes energy transfer efficiency in underwater systems, highlighting improved reliability.
The rapid development of underwater communication systems (UCS) has driven the requirement for more efficient energy harvesting and communication mechanisms. A critical challenge in these systems lies in optimizing the efficiency of radio energy transfer while ensuring reliable communication in difficulties in underwater environments. The research intends to develop a model to maximize the efficiency of underwater radio energy and communication systems based on magnetic coupling resonance (MCR) using optimization techniques. The method begins with the development of a mathematical model representing the MCR in an underwater environment, followed by the implementation of an imperialist competitive scalable seeker optimization (ICSSO) algorithm to optimize the parameters influencing energy transfer efficiency and communication quality. The ICSSO algorithm combines the imperialist competitive algorithm (ICA) and scalable seeker optimization (SSO) algorithm to optimize energy transfer and communication efficiency in complex systems. Simulation using MATLAB (Version 2023a) demonstrates that the proposed method achieves a power level of 49 W and an efficiency of 92%, significantly outperforming conventional approaches. The proposed method was found to achieve faster convergence, resulting in higher energy efficiency and more stable communication channels. The proposed model outperformed the traditional model in terms of energy efficiency and communication reliability under various environmental conditions. Therefore, it highlights the potential of MCR base underwater communication system and the significant role of optimization techniques in improving system performance.
