Measurements of magnetic‐field‐dependent microwave absorption at a p‐type semiconductor, Bi 0.92 Sb 0.08 within the frequency ranges around 35, 70, and 135 GHz are reported. The resultsof the diamagnetic resonance and the quantum oscillations of the surface impedance are discussed. Diamagnetic resonance was measured both for light holes at the point L of the Brillouin zone and for heavy holes at thepoint Tof the Brillouin zone. The light holes define three ellipsoidal Fermi bodies of relatively large prolateness. For different models the Fermi energy isdetermined from the obtained cyclotron masses and extreme cross‐sections of the Fermi surface.
