Triangulation is starting to emerge in tourism research as the ‘new’ method. However, there are many misconceptions of what triangulation is and what it can do. It also covers the critiques of triangulation and eventually suggests how it should be used. Copyright © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
