The uncertainty discrepancy between distributed wind generation and local load demand brings an interesting and important challenge to daily schedule and control policy design in microgrid. This paper proposes a look-ahead dispatch framework for matching stochastic supply and demand with optimal control of distributed storages and minimal use of wind curtailment and load shedding. A stochastic programming method with scenario tree is used to build the control solutions and strategies of distributed wind generators, distributed storages and directly controllable loads according to the integrated status of different devices and dynamic behavior forecasting of wind generation and end uses demands in a microgrid. Numerical testing results show that this method is efficient and a reliable dispatch solution is obtained.
