A theory of the Huggins coefficient for the viscosity of polymer solutions (under Θ conditions) is presented that is free of improper integrals. The theory is explicitly applied to the Gaussian chain model and yields the value πζ (2)/[ζ (3/2)]2 = 0.757, where ζ is the Riemann zeta function.
