This article examines the main components of the educational process and their interrelationship in the context of modernizing the higher education system. Particular attention is devoted to improving the quality of higher education through the introduction of innovative teaching technologies, enhancement of pedagogical potential, development of information and communication technologies, and strengthening international cooperation. The study analyzes the priority directions for reforming higher education in Uzbekistan, including the improvement of educational standards, scientific research activities, and material-technical infrastructure. The article highlights the significance of developing competitive specialists capable of meeting international standards and contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
