The development of the Internet and information technology makes it possible to form a smart library. The characteristics of the smart library are: personalized service methods; information resource sharing; service interaction; intelligent service content. This article discusses the security system and resource construction of intelligent libraries by using matter-element fuzzy theory. The system mainly includes basic network; hardware equipment; retrieval technology; and information security. Smart libraries can build characteristic resources and integrate shared resources. Continuous and in-depth research on smart libraries can provide readers with better and more personalized services.
