The Life Span Forum is a four week, 16-hour geriatric interdisciplinary team curriculum theoretical and experiential program that introduces students to team dynamics, assessment, problem solving and patient care planning from the perspective of multiple disciplines. Evaluation results show the program significantly improved students' knowledge of interdisciplinary teams, attitudes towards interdisciplinary teams and knowledge of aging. Moreover, pre-training differences related to gender and discipline were ameliorated as a result of participation in the training program.
