Investigates rumen microbial changes in Angus bulls fed varied corn stover treatments, suggesting potential dietary impacts.
This study used 16S amplicon sequencing to investigate the effects of different corn stover pretreatment methods on the rumen microbial community of Angus bulls. A total of 18 bulls were selected and randomly divided into three treatments: rubbing-filament corn stover (RF), steam-exploded corn stover (SE), and yellow silage corn stover (YS), with 6 bulls in each treatment.
