Industry 4.0 transfers the principles of the Internet of Things on the processing industry. Basis for this idea forms the intelligent control unities equipped objects, which are able to communicate interconvertible and exchange self-optimized, autonomously information with other objects. These production unities are called Cyber Physical Systems (CPS). Behind the Industry 4.0 related examples of industrial robot applications also CAE/CAD application with focus on EPLAN P8, which renew the idea of value added chain, will be presented in this paper.
