This paper considers tracking filter based periodic disturbance attenuation. The tracking filter is the bandpass filter whose resonance frequency corresponds with the frequency of external input. However, the parameters of this filter, i.e., time constant and feedback gain, have been adjusted through trial and error process. In the presented approach, the time constant is determined in accordance with the angular frequency of periodic disturbance. Furthermore, it is shown that a design problem for the feedback gain is reduced to the solvability problem of linear matrix inequalities. The performance of the proposed approaches is evaluated by numerical simulations.
