Abstract This paper has demonstrated the simulative study of the engagement of hybrid ytterbium doped fibre amplifier (YDFA) based distributed optical fiber Raman amplifiers for ultra wide band with ultra-space division multiplexing optical fiber systems development. Output signal power is measured against YDFA pumping power and number of transmitted channels. Overall Q factor and overall bit error rate are demonstrated against the fiber length variations based various number of transmitted channels in the presence and absence of all optical amplification. The important role of hybrid Raman/YDFA amplifiers is clarified in optical fiber communication system for upgrading the Q-factor through various transmitted channels. The optical output power can be enhanced through the employment of both Raman fiber amplifier with YDFA amplifier based doping length of 5 m. As well as the Q factor and eye diagram analyzer is clarified with Raman/YDFA amplifiers, YDFA optical amplifier and without amplification for the optical fiber multiplexed system.
